NEW YORK, Feb 01, 2007 -- Lexington Insurance Company, a member company of American International Group, Inc. (AIG), today announced it will host a succession of podcasts and Webcasts, entitled LexCast Audio and Webcast Series, which will focus on significant issues relevant to insurance and risk management. "The LexCast Series, which expands on a series of Webcasts Lexington introduced last year, utilizes convenient technology to educate risk managers and brokers on trends, insights and facts to help manage risk," said Kevin Kelley, Chairman and CEO of Lexington Insurance Company. "The LexCast series continues our commitment to provide easy access to meaningful information pertaining to risk management."
The first of the series, Hurricane Outlook 2007: What It Means for the U.S. Property Market, which goes live on February 1, 2007 and is available at www.lexcasts.com, is a podcast that examines early forecasts for the 2007 Atlantic hurricane season and repercussions for the property insurance market. Hurricane Outlook 2007 LexCast features commentary from Dr. William Gray, Professor of Atmospheric Science, Colorado State University; Phil Klotzbach, Research Associate, Colorado State University Department of Atmospheric Science; Dr. Robert P.
