AIG Vice President, Ned Cloonan, with soldiers attending a benefit for US Troops and their Families.
BOSTON, MA, November 3, 2006 - Larry Izzo announced today that American International Group, Inc. (AIG) has signed on as a co-lead sponsor to support "Karaoke with Larry Izzo and the New England Patriots: A Benefit for our Troops and their Families." This event will take place at the Avalon in Boston on Monday, November 6, 2006. The benefit will host over 3,000 people, including more than 1,000 U.S. servicemen and women.

AIG has generously donated $75,000 which will go to local and national charities dedicated to providing services and support to the families of American Troops who have died in combat, and to those American Veterans left disabled as a result of their military service in Iraq and Afghanistan. Among the specific charities that will benefit from tonight's event include the Massachusetts Legacy Fund, the Fallen Patriot Fund of the Mark Cuban Foundation, and the Special Operations Warrior Fund.

"We are very proud to have AIG as one of the lead sponsors of this event," said Larry Izzo. "AIG has a longstanding history of supporting disabled veterans and the families of our country's fallen heroes here in Massachusetts and around the nation. We are truly appreciative that this global company has brought their support to our event in Boston and to the U.S. military."
