|AIG INCREASES QUARTERLY STOCK DIVIDEND 15.4 PERCENT|
NEW YORK, May 19, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- The Board of Directors of American International Group, Inc. (AIG) today declared a quarterly cash dividend on the company's common stock of 7.5 cents per share, payable on September 17, 2004 to shareholders of record on September 3, 2004.
This represents a 15.4 percent increase in the quarterly cash dividend. It is the third time that the Board has increased the dividend within the last year and the nineteenth consecutive year that AIG has increased its dividend.
