|AIG’S AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL COMPANIES INTRODUCE INTELLIRISK NETSOURCETM RISK MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM|
NEW YORK, August 27, 1998 – American International Group, Inc. (AIG) has announced that the American International Companies have introduced IntelliRisk NetSourceTM, a new version of IntelliRisk®, AIG's risk management information system. IntelliRisk NetSource can be accessed via the Internet and is tailored to the needs of commercial and middle market account insureds and their brokers.|
IntelliRisk NetSource enables insureds whose policies are underwritten by the American International Companies and their brokers to go on-line to retrieve information in real-time, including account, policy, and claim and payment data. Users can communicate with underwriters, claims and risk management information systems (RMIS) staff involved in their insurance program through an Internet e-mail connection. Reports can be generated in standard format or customized through the system's selection and filtering capabilities to generate custom reports. Additionally, the system provides a direct, one-button link to Microsoft Excel® providing extensive ad hoc reporting and graphics capabilities.
IntelliRisk NetSource is supported by a Solution Development Team that assists with RMIS-related needs. An on-line help facility, toll-free help center, comprehensive “getting started” guide and quarterly regional training sessions provide further support.
“IntelliRisk NetSource empowers clients with real-time data upon which they can make informed decisions, helping to reduce the ultimate cost of risk,” said Kristian P. Moor, AIG Executive Vice President, Domestic General Insurance. “This system demonstrates our continued commitment to working in partnership with our customers and to delivering real business solutions to their risk management problems.”
