NEW YORK, May 15, 2001 – American International Group, Inc. (AIG) has announced that AIG Affinity Group Services, a division of the American International Companies, has reached an agreement through which National Family Equities, Inc., a marketing affiliate of the National Adoption Foundation, will offer access to life and accident insurance and international travel assistance services to adoptive parents. The National Adoption Foundation provides financial support, information, and services for adoptive and prospective families in order to assist them in the successful adoption of children.

AIG Affinity Group Services offers custom designed insurance and financial services programs to the client and membership base of businesses, associations and other organizations by developing distribution plans specifically tailored to meet the needs of the groups they serve.

Under the agreement, National Family Equities, Inc. will distribute information to adoptive parents on term life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance and international travel assistance services, provided by AIG member companies, to adoptive parents via direct mail programs and at adoption agencies and seminars around the country.*
