|CHINA AMERICA INSURANCE COMPANY NAMES BENJAMIN MAN PRESIDENT|
NEW YORK, April 28, 1998 – China America Insurance Company (CAIC), a subsidiary of China America Holding Company, a joint venture of American International Group, Inc. (AIG) and the People's Insurance Company of China (PICC) has named Benjamin S. Man President. Mr. Man will be based in New York. He succeeds Patrick N. Preddy who was named Regional Vice President, American International Companies, Los Angeles Regional Office.|
Mr. Man joins China America with over 21 years experience, most recently as Client Manager for Johnson & Higgins' Asia-Pacific Region. Prior to that, he held a number of management positions in Aetna Property/Casualty operations in the United States and Marsh & McLennan in Hong Kong.
Mr. Man holds a B.S. and M.B.A. from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. He also holds the Chartered Property/Casualty Underwriters (CPCU) and Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designations.
