NEW YORK, February 24, 1998 - AIG Global Investment Corp., a member company
of American International Group, Inc. (AIG), has named Hans Danielsson Managing Director, Global Equities, responsible for managing AIG's equity investments and the regional equity groups associated with that function worldwide. In this new position, Mr. Danielsson will be based in New York and report to Win J. Neuger, AIG Senior Vice President, Investments.|
Mr. Danielsson was previously Chief Investment Officer-International Equities for S-E Banken of Sweden, one of the leading commercial banks in that country. He joined S-E Banken Fonder in 1993 as Chief Investment Officer-European Equities, after serving as Executive Vice President of Proventus, a Swedish private equity firm. Prior to that he was in New York and London with J.P. Morgan Investment Management, which he joined after serving four years as First Secretary of the Swedish Ministry of Finance. Mr. Danielsson earned his B.A. in Economics from Uppsala University, Sweden and his M.B.A. from INSEAD, France.
