|JOHN KEOGH APPOINTED PRESIDENT OF AIG’S NATIONAL UNION FIRE INSURANCE COMPANY OF PITTSBURGH, PA.|
|NEW YORK, April 18, 2000 – American International Group, Inc. (AIG) has announced the appointment of John Keogh as President of its National Union Fire Insurance Company of Pittsburgh, Pa. subsidiary. He replaces John Cavoores who has resigned.|
National Union is a leading provider of directors and officers (D&O) liability, and other management and professional liability products and services, including employment practices liability, fidelity and surety coverages.
Mr. Keogh was most recently Executive Vice President of AIG's Domestic Brokerage Group (DBG), responsible for managing field operations and segment marketing. Prior to that, he was President and Chief Operating Officer of Lexington Insurance Company and President of the DBG Commercial Accounts Division and held a number of management positions with AIG Risk Management, Inc. (AIGRM), American Home Assurance Company and American International Underwriters (AIU). He joined AIG in 1986 as an underwriter with AIU. Mr. Keogh is a graduate of Brown University.
