|NEW YORK, September 19, 2000 - American International Group, Inc. (AIG) Chairman M.R. Greenberg has announced that Evan G. Greenberg, AIG President and Chief Operating Officer, has resigned from the company to pursue other interests. M.R. Greenberg said that Evan Greenberg's responsibilities will be assumed by a number of other senior AIG executives.|
