Online video news series spotlights emergent risks and solutions

New York – January 26, 2012 – Lexington Insurance Company, a Chartis company, today announced the introduction of LexTVSM (www.lex.tv), an online video news series that provides brokers with timely information and analysis of risks relevant to businesses around the globe.

“As the leading U.S.-based surplus lines insurer, Lexington has a long history of keeping out in front of newly emerging exposures. LexTV will enable Lexington to share its insights on those exposures and the innovative risk management and insurance solutions that can help mitigate them,” said David Bresnahan, President of Lexington Insurance Company.

Initial LexTV episodes will focus on such wide-ranging topics as the uncharted risks of nanotechnology, the unusual exposures of archaeological finds at construction sites, and the unpredictability of medical malpractice exposures facing the U.S. healthcare industry.

LexTV will feature anchor-driven news and analysis as well as special features and commentary by Chartis executives and external subject matter experts. The broadcasts are accessible free of charge and are integrated with Lexington’s social media sites, including Twitter (www.twitter.com/Lex_Ins), Facebook (www.facebook.com/LexingtonInsurance), and LinkedIn (www.linkedin.com/company/lexington-insurancecompany). Brokers can subscribe to LexTV and be automatically alerted to the newest broadcasts by providing their contact information on the site.
