NEW YORK & ATLANTA, Sep 25, 2007 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- AIG Aviation, Inc., a member of American International Group, Inc. (AIG) today announced AIG Aviation Select(SM), a new service allowing aviation operators to purchase a comprehensive portfolio of insurance coverages in one stop, eliminating the need to go to multiple sources to obtain comparable insurance products. AIG Aviation Select will enable aviation operations, including airports, fixed base operators (FBOs) and general aviation clients, to obtain aviation workers' compensation, property, directors and officers liability (D&O), errors & omissions liability (E&O), employment practices liability (EPL), and auto and environmental liability coverages through a single point of contact. AIG Aviation Select service is available through Preferred Aviation Underwriters, an insurance broker specializing in property and casualty coverage specific to the needs of the aviation industry.

"Obtaining the right balance and mix of coverages has been difficult for the more than 4,000 FBOs and 5,000 airports in the United States. Now, with AIG Aviation Select, they have the 'one-stop' convenience of one-source shopping, backed by the experience and financial strength of the AIG Companies," said David M. Hupp, President and Chief Executive Officer of AIG Aviation. "AIG Aviation's relationship with Preferred Aviation Underwriters allows aviation insurance agents and brokers to consult with a single point of contact to evaluate their total insurance needs and protect themselves accordingly."
